Maureen O’Hara is brilliant as Judy, a bomb struggling dancer’s dance all the girls who longs to dance ballet. Even the band’s Bubbles (Lucille Ball), who longs only after the big time, and how do all to get there. While Judy sweet, sincere wish to take her talent for success, is coarse and vulgar bubbles uses sex to get what she wants. When the bubbles (now Tiger Lily White) Jody land her burlesque ballet gets to work-on-points between the rails to know dance acts, Judy is just “henchmen” theirs. Judy reluctantly agrees to take their art. Complicating matters are married to wealthy playboy (Louis Hayward) and a ballet company (Ralph Bellamy), who sees a star Judy.
